CARMEPX is committed to providing a website and digital vehicle-inspection experience that is usable by people with disabilities. We are continually working to improve access to our website, booking tools, forms, payment flow, inspection reports, customer communications, and related digital services.
This Accessibility Statement applies to CARMEPX only. It describes our current accessibility goals, feedback process, and ongoing improvement efforts. It does not claim that every page, file, or third-party feature is fully accessible at all times.

1. Our Commitment
CARMEPX seeks to provide equal access to information and services for customers, vehicle sellers, inspectors, and other authorized users, including people who use screen readers, screen magnification, voice recognition, keyboard-only navigation, captions, switch devices, or other assistive technologies.
We aim to design, develop, procure, and maintain digital content in a manner that supports perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust use. Accessibility is an ongoing process that includes design, content, code, testing, training, and prompt correction of identified barriers.
2. Accessibility Standard and Goal
CARMEPX uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, as its principal technical accessibility target for the CARMEPX website and customer-facing digital content where reasonably applicable.
WCAG is a technical standard and does not by itself guarantee that every individual will have the same experience. CARMEPX does not represent that the website has achieved complete WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance unless and until CARMEPX has completed an appropriate evaluation and expressly publishes that conformance claim.
3. Accessibility Features and Practices
CARMEPX’s accessibility efforts may include the following practices:
- Logical heading structure and meaningful page titles.
- Keyboard access to navigation, forms, buttons, dialogs, and other interactive controls.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and icons.
- Form labels, instructions, error identification, and understandable validation messages.
- Sufficient color contrast and information that is not communicated by color alone.
- Responsive layouts that support screen enlargement and mobile use.
- Captions, transcripts, or equivalent alternatives for important prerecorded media when reasonably available.
- Plain-language labels and consistent navigation.
- Accessible document formats or an alternative format upon reasonable request.
4. Booking, Forms, Payments, and Reports
CARMEPX aims to make its inspection booking process, vehicle-information forms, seller-contact fields, checkout flow, customer account features, inspection reports, and privacy controls accessible.
Some payment, mapping, scheduling, messaging, or document features may be provided through third-party services. CARMEPX will make reasonable efforts to select and configure accessible services, but CARMEPX does not control every aspect of a third party’s technology.
If you cannot complete a booking, submit required information, access a report, or make a payment because of an accessibility barrier, contact CARMEPX using Section 13. We will make reasonable efforts to provide an effective alternative method that preserves the security and integrity of the transaction.
5. Compatibility and Assistive Technology
The CARMEPX website is intended to work with current versions of widely used browsers, operating systems, and assistive technologies. Older, unsupported, modified, or highly customized systems may not provide the intended experience.
Users are encouraged to keep browsers, operating systems, and assistive technologies updated. CARMEPX cannot guarantee compatibility with every device, browser extension, accessibility tool, network setting, or software configuration.
6. Known Limitations and Third-Party Content
Despite ongoing efforts, some content or features may have accessibility limitations. Examples may include:
- Third-party payment, map, scheduling, chat, CAPTCHA, video, or embedded content.
- Older PDF reports or documents created before current accessibility procedures were implemented.
- Vehicle photographs containing visual information that cannot be fully conveyed through brief alternative text.
- Content supplied by sellers, dealerships, customers, inspectors, or other third parties.
- Temporary issues introduced by software updates, plugins, browser changes, or emergency maintenance.
The identification of a limitation does not mean CARMEPX considers the barrier acceptable. CARMEPX will prioritize reported barriers based on severity, customer impact, available alternatives, technical feasibility, and applicable legal requirements.
7. Alternative Access and Reasonable Assistance
When a digital feature is not accessible, CARMEPX may provide information or service through another effective method, such as email, telephone assistance, an accessible document, a simplified form, or direct customer support.
An alternative method will be evaluated case by case. CARMEPX will not require a person with a disability to accept a method that is ineffective, insecure, or materially different when a reasonably effective option is available.
8. Accessibility Feedback
CARMEPX welcomes accessibility feedback. To help us investigate efficiently, please provide, when possible:
- The webpage address, report, form, or feature involved.
- A description of the barrier and the task you were attempting to complete.
- The device, browser, and assistive technology used, if you are comfortable sharing that information.
- The format or method that would provide effective access.
- Your preferred method of response.
You are not required to disclose a diagnosis or unnecessary medical information to report an accessibility barrier or request assistance.
9. Response and Resolution Process
CARMEPX aims to acknowledge accessibility feedback within two business days and to provide a substantive response or status update within ten business days. Complex technical issues, third-party dependencies, or requests requiring a customized alternative may take longer.
CARMEPX may contact you for additional details, provide an interim alternative, explain the planned correction, or confirm that the issue has been resolved. These target periods are goals and not guarantees.
10. Ongoing Assessment and Improvements
CARMEPX may use a combination of manual review, keyboard testing, screen-reader testing, automated scanning, user feedback, developer review, and periodic remediation to improve accessibility.
Automated testing alone cannot identify every accessibility issue. CARMEPX may update templates, plugins, forms, reports, content standards, and internal procedures as the website and service evolve.
11. No Retaliation and No Waiver of Rights
CARMEPX will not retaliate against a person for requesting accessibility assistance or reporting a good-faith accessibility concern.
This Statement does not limit any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited, does not waive CARMEPX’s lawful defenses, and does not create a contractual guarantee that every digital experience will be free from every accessibility issue.
12. Changes to This Statement
CARMEPX may update this Statement as technology, services, accessibility practices, or legal requirements change. The updated version will display a revised effective date or last-updated date.

1. Scope of This Notice
This Notice applies to the CARMEPX website, landing pages, customer portals, booking tools, reports, checklists, photographs, videos, graphics, illustrations, text, databases, training materials, scoring presentations, downloadable documents, emails, and other content made available by or on behalf of CARMEPX, except where a different notice is displayed.
2. Copyright Ownership
Original works created by CARMEPX or for CARMEPX are owned by CARMEPX or used under license. Protected materials may include the selection, coordination, arrangement, design, written expression, photographs, videos, graphics, report layout, form design, instructional material, website code, and other original elements of the CARMEPX service.
CARMEPX does not claim copyright in facts, ideas, procedures, systems, methods of operation, public-domain material, or third-party works merely because they appear on the CARMEPX website or in a report. Rights in those materials remain with their lawful owners.
3. Copyright Notice and Protection
Unless otherwise stated, the following notice applies to original CARMEPX content:
© 2026 CARMEPX. All rights reserved.
Copyright protection may arise automatically when an original work is fixed in a tangible medium. The use of a copyright notice does not mean that every word, fact, data point, or third-party item appearing with the notice is owned exclusively by CARMEPX.
4. Limited Permission to Use Website Content
Subject to the CARMEPX Website Terms of Use and applicable service policies, CARMEPX grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable permission to access and display the website for lawful personal use and to print or save a reasonable number of pages for your own noncommercial evaluation of CARMEPX services.
This permission does not transfer ownership and does not authorize reproduction, republication, public display, resale, sublicensing, commercial exploitation, creation of a competing service, or use of CARMEPX content outside the purpose for which it was provided.
5. Prohibited Uses
Except with CARMEPX’s prior written permission or as otherwise permitted by law, you may not:
- Copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, publicly display, publicly perform, translate, adapt, or create derivative works from CARMEPX content.
- Remove, hide, modify, or obscure copyright, trademark, attribution, confidentiality, warning, or proprietary notices.
- Use CARMEPX content to advertise, endorse, certify, or sell a vehicle or service in a misleading manner.
- Resell, sublicense, lease, provide, or commercially exploit a CARMEPX report, checklist, photograph set, training material, or data compilation.
- Copy the website design, report structure, inspection workflow, scoring presentation, or original written content for a competing service.
- Misrepresent CARMEPX content as your own or imply sponsorship, affiliation, certification, approval, or partnership that CARMEPX did not authorize.
6. Inspection Reports, Checklists, Photographs, and Methodology
The paying Client receives only the report-use rights stated in the CARMEPX Vehicle Inspection Terms of Service and Report Usage & Reliance Disclaimer. Those documents control if they conflict with this Notice.
Vehicle condition facts and measurements may not themselves be protected by copyright. However, CARMEPX may own or control rights in original report text, photographs taken by CARMEPX personnel, selection and arrangement of content, graphics, explanations, report format, scoring presentation, and other original expression.
A Client may use an unaltered report for the authorized evaluation of the identified vehicle. Unless expressly permitted, the Client may not remove warnings, change findings, replace photographs, modify ratings, separate pages to create a misleading impression, resell the report, or present the vehicle as “CARMEPX Certified,” guaranteed, approved, or endorsed.
7. CARMEPX Name, Logos, and Brand Assets
The CARMEPX name, logos, shield designs, slogans, icons, service names, trade dress, and other brand identifiers may be trademarks, service marks, copyrighted works, or other protected assets of CARMEPX.
No license is granted to use CARMEPX branding in a business name, domain, social-media account, advertisement, vehicle listing, inspection service, app, software product, merchandise, or other commercial presentation without prior written authorization.
Nothing in this Notice represents that every CARMEPX mark has been federally registered. The absence of a registration symbol does not waive any rights CARMEPX may have.
8. Customer and Third-Party Submissions
You retain any ownership rights you lawfully hold in content you submit, such as vehicle photographs, listing information, documents, comments, or messages. By submitting content for a CARMEPX service, you grant CARMEPX a limited, nonexclusive license to receive, store, copy, review, reproduce, format, transmit, display to authorized participants, and otherwise use the content as reasonably necessary to provide, document, secure, support, and improve the requested service, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit the content and that CARMEPX’s authorized use will not violate another person’s copyright, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, property, or contractual rights.
9. Third-Party Materials and Licenses
The website or reports may contain third-party names, logos, vehicle information, maps, software, payment tools, photographs, links, manufacturer information, or other materials. Those materials remain subject to the rights and terms of their respective owners.
A third-party reference does not transfer ownership to CARMEPX and does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or responsibility unless CARMEPX expressly states otherwise.
10. Linking, Quotation, and Fair Use
You may link to a publicly available CARMEPX webpage if the link is lawful, does not bypass access controls, does not frame the page in a misleading manner, and does not imply sponsorship or affiliation.
Nothing in this Notice is intended to restrict fair use, commentary, criticism, news reporting, accessibility rights, or another use permitted by applicable law. A person relying on a legal exception remains responsible for ensuring that the use qualifies.
11. Automated Extraction, Data Mining, and AI Training
Except where required by law or expressly authorized in writing, CARMEPX does not grant permission to use automated tools to scrape, crawl, harvest, index beyond ordinary search-engine functions, download in bulk, mirror, extract, compile, analyze, or reproduce protected CARMEPX content.
CARMEPX content may not be used to train, fine-tune, evaluate, benchmark, validate, or operate an artificial-intelligence, machine-learning, computer-vision, data-broker, or competing vehicle-inspection system without prior written authorization. This restriction does not limit uses that cannot lawfully be restricted.
12. Permission Requests
A permission request should identify the specific material, proposed use, audience, publication method, duration, territory, whether the use is commercial, and the requesting person or organization. Silence does not constitute permission.
CARMEPX may grant, condition, deny, or revoke permission in writing. Any approved use must follow the stated scope, attribution, quality-control, and brand requirements.
13. Reporting Copyright Infringement
A person who believes that material available through CARMEPX infringes a copyright may send a written notice containing:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification and location of the material claimed to be infringing.
- The complaining party’s name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement of good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that the complaining party is authorized to act for the copyright owner.
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.
CARMEPX may request additional information, remove or restrict material, preserve relevant records, contact the submitting party, or take another appropriate action. Submitting a complaint does not guarantee removal and does not create an attorney-client or fiduciary relationship.
Copyright complaints should be sent to copyright@carmepx.com. Do not label this address as a registered DMCA designated agent unless CARMEPX has completed and maintained the required U.S. Copyright Office registration.
14. Reservation of Rights
All rights not expressly granted are reserved. No waiver, delay, failure to enforce, public availability, or prior limited permission prevents CARMEPX from enforcing its rights in a later matter.
15. Changes and Contact
CARMEPX may update this Notice prospectively. The updated version will display a revised effective date or last-updated date. Questions and permission requests may be sent to copyright@carmepx.com or through the legal-contact method published on www.carmepx.com.

1. Scope and Acceptance
This Policy applies whenever you access or use a CARMEPX website, account, booking page, form, report portal, download link, API if offered, text or email interaction, customer-support channel, inspector interface, or other CARMEPX digital resource.
By using a CARMEPX resource, you agree to comply with this Policy. If a paid vehicle inspection is involved, the Vehicle Inspection Terms of Service and incorporated service policies also apply and control over this Policy regarding the paid service.
2. Authorized Use and Eligibility
CARMEPX resources may be used only for lawful purposes consistent with their intended function. Unless CARMEPX expressly authorizes otherwise, users must be at least eighteen years old and legally capable of entering an agreement.
CARMEPX may limit access by service area, account type, customer role, inspector role, vehicle, report, booking, device, or other reasonable operational criteria.
3. Accurate Information and Proper Authority
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information and promptly correct material errors. You may not impersonate another person, create a false account, conceal your identity to commit wrongdoing, or misrepresent your authority.
You may submit a vehicle, seller, dealership, address, telephone number, photograph, document, or other information only when you have a lawful basis and appropriate authority to do so. You may not direct CARMEPX to trespass, access a vehicle without permission, obtain confidential information improperly, or contact a person for an unlawful purpose.
4. Illegal, Fraudulent, and Deceptive Conduct
You may not use CARMEPX resources to engage in, facilitate, encourage, conceal, or attempt:
- Fraud, theft, identity misuse, money laundering, payment fraud, or false claims.
- Sale, purchase, transport, concealment, or inspection of a stolen vehicle or property.
- Odometer tampering, title washing, VIN alteration, document falsification, inspection-report alteration, or concealment of material vehicle information.
- Misrepresentation of a vehicle as inspected, approved, certified, guaranteed, or endorsed by CARMEPX.
- Violation of export controls, sanctions, consumer-protection laws, privacy laws, intellectual-property laws, or another applicable requirement.
- Collection or use of information for stalking, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, intimidation, or another harmful purpose.
5. Account, Credential, and Access Security
You must protect account credentials, verification codes, report links, and access tokens. You may not share access with an unauthorized person, use another person’s credentials, bypass authentication, or permit account access after your authority ends.
You must notify CARMEPX promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, credential compromise, report-link exposure, or account misuse. CARMEPX may require password changes, identity verification, session termination, or other security steps.
6. System Interference, Malware, and Security Testing
You may not:
- Introduce malware, ransomware, spyware, destructive code, or harmful files.
- Probe, scan, test, exploit, or attempt to bypass a vulnerability without prior written authorization.
- Interfere with availability, overload systems, conduct denial-of-service activity, or disrupt another user’s access.
- Circumvent rate limits, security controls, robots instructions, authentication, access restrictions, payment controls, or report protections.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code except to the limited extent such restriction is prohibited by law.
- Use CARMEPX systems to attack, test, monitor, or gain access to another system or network.
Good-faith security researchers must contact security@carmepx.com and obtain written authorization before testing. A report does not create authorization retroactively.
7. Automated Access, Scraping, and Data Extraction
Unless CARMEPX provides written authorization, you may not use bots, crawlers, scrapers, browser automation, scripts, headless browsers, data-mining tools, bulk-download tools, or similar methods to access, collect, copy, monitor, index, reproduce, or extract CARMEPX content or data beyond ordinary use by a human user.
Ordinary public search-engine indexing is permitted only to the extent allowed by CARMEPX’s technical settings and does not authorize indexing of customer portals, reports, checkout pages, private files, or restricted content.
8. Privacy, Confidentiality, and Personal Information
You may not collect, expose, sell, publish, scrape, infer, or misuse personal information, vehicle-location data, seller contact information, inspector information, customer communications, payment data, credentials, private reports, or confidential business information obtained through CARMEPX.
Do not upload Social Security numbers, full payment-card details, medical records, account passwords, government identification, or other unnecessary sensitive information unless CARMEPX expressly requests it through an approved secure process.
9. Content and Upload Standards
Content submitted to CARMEPX must be lawful, relevant, accurate to the best of your knowledge, and reasonably necessary for the requested service. You may not upload or transmit content that:
- Infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, property, or contractual rights.
- Is knowingly false, materially misleading, defamatory, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, obscene, or exploitative.
- Contains malware, hidden scripts, executable code, corrupted files, or deceptive links.
- Contains another person’s sensitive information without authority.
- Is unrelated bulk content, advertising, spam, or solicitation.
- Manipulates or fabricates inspection evidence, photographs, diagnostic information, dates, mileage, VIN data, or seller communications.
10. Inspection, Seller, and Location Conduct
You may not use CARMEPX to pressure, threaten, deceive, or harass a seller, dealership, inspector, employee, contractor, or property representative. You may not demand unsafe, illegal, destructive, or unauthorized inspection activity.
You must disclose known access restrictions and must not knowingly send an inspector to a dangerous, unlawful, inaccessible, or hostile location. CARMEPX may stop, limit, or refuse service when safety, authorization, property rules, or lawful operations require it.
11. Reports, Ratings, and CARMEPX Certification Claims
You may use a CARMEPX report only as permitted by the Vehicle Inspection Terms of Service and Report Usage & Reliance Disclaimer. You may not alter, crop, rearrange, combine, selectively publish, or present report content in a way that creates a materially misleading impression.
You may not state or imply that CARMEPX certified, guaranteed, warranted, approved, endorsed, insured, or declared a vehicle safe or roadworthy unless the exact statement appears in an authorized CARMEPX document and is used without alteration and with all applicable limitations.
A completed CARMEPX inspection does not give a seller or dealer a continuing license to use CARMEPX branding to market the vehicle unless CARMEPX grants that permission in writing.
12. Payment and Chargeback Abuse
You may not use stolen payment credentials, submit false billing information, evade a valid charge, create duplicate bookings to exploit refunds, misuse promotion codes, or knowingly initiate a false or misleading chargeback.
Nothing in this section limits a lawful consumer right to dispute an unauthorized, incorrect, or unperformed charge. CARMEPX may provide transaction records, consent records, dispatch records, reports, communications, and other relevant evidence to a payment processor or financial institution when responding to a dispute.
13. Intellectual Property and Brand Misuse
You must comply with the CARMEPX Copyright Notice and applicable intellectual-property law. You may not copy CARMEPX materials, imitate its branding, register confusingly similar domains or accounts, create fake CARMEPX communications, or use CARMEPX assets to promote a competing inspection service without written authorization.
14. Communications, Harassment, and Spam
You may not use CARMEPX communication features or contact information to send spam, bulk solicitations, abusive messages, unlawful marketing, phishing, impersonation, threats, discriminatory content, or repeated unwanted communications.
You must respect communication preferences and lawful opt-out requests. The CARMEPX Call & Text (SMS) Consent Policy governs CARMEPX calls and texts to customers; it does not authorize users to contact others unlawfully.
15. Competitive and Commercial Misuse
Without prior written authorization, you may not use CARMEPX resources to create or improve a competing service, benchmark CARMEPX for publication, collect pricing or operational data in bulk, recruit CARMEPX inspectors through unauthorized means, copy inspection procedures, or commercially exploit customer reports, training materials, or proprietary content.
CARMEPX content and data may not be used for artificial-intelligence training, computer-vision training, commercial data products, lead generation, vehicle-market databases, or resale except as expressly authorized or as required by law.
16. Monitoring, Investigation, and Evidence Preservation
Subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law, CARMEPX may use reasonable security, fraud-prevention, logging, access-control, and abuse-detection measures. CARMEPX has no general obligation to monitor every user or item of content.
When CARMEPX reasonably suspects a violation, it may investigate, request information, preserve relevant records, restrict access, review submitted materials, contact affected parties, or cooperate with payment processors, hosting providers, insurers, legal counsel, or government authorities as lawfully appropriate.
17. Enforcement and Remedies
CARMEPX may take one or more proportionate actions in response to an actual or suspected violation, including:
- Warning the user or requesting corrective action.
- Removing, quarantining, or restricting content.
- Suspending or terminating access, accounts, bookings, report links, or communication privileges.
- Refusing or stopping an inspection when authorization, safety, legality, or integrity is compromised.
- Requiring identity, authority, or payment verification.
- Preserving evidence and reporting conduct when legally permitted or required.
- Seeking injunctive relief, damages, costs, or another lawful remedy.
CARMEPX may act without prior notice when immediate action is reasonably necessary to protect people, property, systems, data, legal rights, or service integrity. Enforcement decisions do not waive any other right or remedy.
18. Reporting Violations and Security Concerns
Report suspected abuse, fraud, impersonation, report alteration, harassment, or policy violations to abuse@carmepx.com. Report suspected security vulnerabilities or unauthorized system access to security@carmepx.com.
A report should include enough detail to investigate safely, but should not include exploit code, unnecessary personal information, payment-card data, passwords, or illegal content. Do not publicly disclose an unresolved vulnerability in a way that increases risk to users or systems.
19. Changes, Severability, and Contact
CARMEPX may update this Policy prospectively as services, threats, technology, or legal requirements change. The updated version will display a revised effective date or last-updated date.
If a provision is unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
Questions about this Policy may be submitted through the legal or customer-support method published on www.carmepx.com.
